Hi everyone!

I am Luana, a Bolivian girl deeply passionate about serving others. I am also the founder and executive director of Sprouting Change, an organization that encourages more young people like me to make change through actions that facilitate access to education for disadvantaged communities.
 

Living in Bolivia, a country heavily affected by poverty, it is possible to see every day the huge gap in our society. Seeing working children on the street always left a very bitter taste in me, so I realized that I wanted to contribute to solving the root of the problem: the lack of access to quality education. However, young people are often completely alienated from the system and it is difficult for many to see meaningful contributions coming from them. That's why I also recognized the need to create a space where young people like me can engage more with their communities to make a positive and lasting impact.

The organization first started operating in the city of La Paz, nevertheless, we are now expanding globally, so that as many populations as possible can benefit from our actions!
